Game ready low-poly model of a Medieval Period knife with 2K PBR-textures built to real-world scale (metric system).
This knife is inspired by finds of everyday medieval utility knives found across Europe. Such multi purpose tools were common during the period and were used for among other things cooking, eating, crafts and self defence.
The model was created using Blender and Substance Painter. Preview images were rendered with Iray.
Autodesk FBX (.fbx)*
3D Studio (.3ds)
Blender v2.79 (.blend)
* There are three different FBX-files, one standard PBR MetalRough, one for Unity and one for Unreal (the last two have triangulated faces).
MATERIALS & TEXTURES
The model is UV-mapped and has three materials, one for the blade, one for the handle and one for the bronze parts. Each material has three sets of physics based textures, one for PBR MetalRough, one for Unity 5 (metallic workflow) and one for Unreal Engine 4.
The textures are not baked into the model, but are saved as png-files with a resolution of 2048 x 2048 pixels (8 bits) in the subfolders "PBR textures", "Unity 5 textures" and "Unreal Engine 4 textures":
