Two game/VR/AR ready low-poly models of a 18th or 19th century swordstick (one model for the blade and one model for the scabbard) with 2K PBR-textures built to real-world scale (metric system). One of the models is the actual sword, while the other is the scabbard. The origo of both models line up with each other.
Swordsticks (or cane-swords), swords disguised as walking sticks became popular among the upper-class during the 18th and 19th centuries, both as items of fashion and for self defence. Possibly this trend developed as a result of it becoming generally less socially acceptable to openly carry swords.
The need to fit the blade inside a cane usually resulted in a narrow weapon that were best suited for thrusting. The most common civilian weapon during this period was the small sword, and swordsticks closely resembled these duelling and self defence weapons.
The swordstick however had a couple of drawbacks compared to a normal short sword in that they usually were a bit shorter, and lacked any hand protection. A swordstick would certainly be at a disadvantage against a small sword, but would of course be formidable against anyone armed with only a knife, club or some improvised weapon. The element of surprise would also be a distinct advantage in many situations.
This specific swordstick has a handle and scabbard made of wood with brass details, and a quality steel blade. The wood has been decorated with discreet patterns using pyrography and then lacquered to give a shiny surface. The swordstick has a 15 cm long handle, a 66 cm long blade and a 71 cm long scabbard. The total length of the complete item is 86 cm. The blade is secured to the scabbard with a spring loaded button that prevents the carrier from accidentally drawing it.
The models were created using Blender and Substance Painter. Preview images were rendered with Iray.

MATERIALS & TEXTURES
The two models are UV-mapped and has three materials each. The sword has one material for the blade, one for the wooden handle and one for the brass details. The scabbard has one material for the wooden part, one for the brass details and one for the iron shoe.
Each material has three sets of physics based textures, one for PBR MetalRough, one for Unity 5 (metallic workflow) and one for Unreal Engine 4.
The textures are not baked into the model, but are saved as png-files with a resolution of 2048 x 2048 pixels (8 bits) in the folders "PBR textures blade", "PBR textures scabbard", "Unity 5 textures blade", Unity 5 textures scabbard", "Unreal Engine 4 textures blade" and "Unreal Engine 4 textures scabbard":
